Getting Here

The Port City Campus is centrally located in Kingsport, Tennessee at 2601 East Center Street, halfway between Eastman Road and Memorial Boulevard. This is the former Glenwood Baptist Church building, which has been in existence since 1887. We are within walking distance of the Fort Henry Mall, Jefferson Elementary, Robinson Middle, and Dobyns-Bennett High Schools. When you arrive...

We have a pretty relaxed environment at The City Church so feel free to dress casual! If this is your first time, plan to arrive 25–30 minutes before service, especially if you have children, to make sure you can get situated. The City Church is known for being very friendly and welcoming of everyone, so once you get situated, feel free to grab a coffee or tea and a snack, then make yourself at home and enjoy a few minutes of fellowship before the service begins. Our service typically runs for one hour to one hour and 15 minutes. No matter what weekend you come you'll experience a creative service with engaging music and a message that is relevant and applicable.
